I just started getting this error during checkout for:
Bad value: order_amount and I’m unable to resolve the issue using previous solutions that I have found but it is related to the taxes because I only get the error when taxes are applied. This just started recently started. I’m only collecting taxes for the US state of Georgia (GA) and have my tax rate is set for all of Georgia at 8.000%. Here are my current tax settings. I have tried the rounding options but that didn’t work. I have tried automatic tax calculation too and that didn’t work. Below are my current settings.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Update to this – I had to disable the Klarna payments plugin because customers couldn’t make any purchases with any payment option. I have created a staging copy for you to inspect with the plugin enabled.

    Hi,

Did this work before updating to KP 3.0.3?
Does it work if you rollback to the KP version 2.12.1?
You can use the WP-rollback plugin to do this easily.
    https://sv.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-rollback/

Would it be possible to email us on our [email protected] with logs from your real store from when the problem happened as those should not be posted here so we can see if we can find what caused this?

In the meantime I suggest that you rollback to the version it worked with earlier.

I am getting the exact same error on our website when i updated from 2.12.1 to 3.0.3. I rolled back to 2.12.1 and the error went away.

It happens specifically when coupons are applied on the checkout page. After the coupon is applied successfully there is an ajax call to update_order_review that returns the error message “Bad value: order_amount”

I have a log file but it’d loaded sensitive PII data so I can’t share it here.

For anyone else experiencing this take the following steps to confirm:

    1. Enable debugging in the plugin settings
    2. Go to your WooCommerce Status page
    3. Download a System report
    4. Look for errors in the Klarna Payments Request Log

I have provided the debug log privately to @boozebrorsan for review and resolution.

First of all, this is NOT a Klarna Checkout issue it should have been posted in the Klarna Payment forum.

The problem @apticknor had was related to Smart Coupons plugin and is related to a setting in that plugin called “Apply Before Tax“. If you uncheck that, it will work as expected.

As a sidenote, we are working on a fix so that “Apply Before Tax” settings will work in the future. So keep an eye out for that in the changelogs.

Thanks @apticknor for providing us with good information ??

@dmor71 Try and update to Klarna Payments version 3.0.6 and see if you still have a problem. Let us know how it goes. I’m closing this ticket here now as it’s in the wrong place. So if you got problems after updating start a new thread in the Klarna Payments forum or get in touch with us,
