Getting Byline to Print

  • Hi. My husband and I are having problems with the various print plugins for wordpress blogs. Until our site was hacked, we had Printer Friendly working fine except that our bylines never showed up in the hard-copy versions.

    Now neither WP-Print nor Printer Friendly buttons appear on our blogs when the plugins are installed adn activated. The PDF plugins we’ve tried, menawhile, either have typography problems (they print a ? where a dash should be) and/or they also do not display the name of the author of the article.

    Can someone recommend a plugin that allows readers to make printer-friendly or PDF versions of articles that include an author’s byline? We’d prefer a PDF conversion plugin, but one sophisticated enough to deal with basic punctuation and to identify the author of an article or post.

    Were you abel to resolve your earlier issue with the site not working?

    If so, can you let us know what resolved that issue?

    Hi, Nola. I think you were right about what it was, but I had to get someone at our web hosting company to fix it for us on all three of our web sites. We lost a lot of material, though.
