Site is working now, no issue,

If site is working, and it seems to be clean now (https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/travelingmama.net/), then you could mark this thread “Resolved”.

It’s not resolved because when I log in on the admin login it brings up the “can’t open file” error message. What do I do if I can’t get into the site like this?

We’ve been using this site for 9 years with no issues. No matter which log in we try we get the same issue….
when we try to log in to the admin we get a white screen with the small words “can’t open file”

What can we do?

So I played around a bit and here’s what’s happening.
It allows me to log in as admin…with the admin bar across the top of the site. But then no matter what I click on in the black admin bar it comes up with “can’t open file”

With no knowledge of your setup (it looks like a vps or custom linux base), I’d totally randomlany say your nginx or apache as a few issues. Or the user which setup wordpress, or both with file rights.

Anyways, this is something to be checked and obviously not by 777 for all.

So what can I do?
