    Hi

I uninstalled this plugin some months ago, but every time there’s an update to it, I keep getting database updates (my security plugin lets me know when new tables have been created) and it always coincides with your updates.

Just wondering what other files were affected by the installation of this plugin, that could be causing my installation to still think I have it installed? I have checked my plugin directory via ftp and there doesn’t appear to be any files for it.

    Cheers
    Tina

It’s not clear to me what your security plugin is reporting, but on update the activation process is ran (by wordpress) and the plugin apply a delta update to the database in the case there is something to change.

Yes, but why would I still be getting database updates for your plugin, when I uninstalled it?

That doesn’t make sense to me.

Don’t think this is resolved btw. When I installed your app, what other aspects of wordpress did it change?

Unistalled means the plugin has been delete, you cannot have updates. If the plugin code is not there, it cannot run updates… are you sure the plugin has been deleted?

What are you meaning by WP aspects?

    Stefano.

I don’t know, you tell me. It’s no longer in my plugin list. And I’ve ftp’d in to check and there’s no folder for it under plugins. BUT every time there is an update, I get notified that this app is attempting to create new tables.

To me, that means there must be something left behind. Maybe a hidden file that I’m not seeing? Why else would it think its still installed and trying to recreate the tables?
