getting domain information from WordPress

Maybe not a technical issue, but perhaps I can get directed appropriately.

I’m starting a second blog and decided to try a WordPress.com hosted site. Quickly I realized the limitations, so I organized things to be hosted at GoDaddy and when I went to move to the self-hosted location, they needed information about the domain. Problem is I bought the domain (so I wouldn’t have to have wordpress in the ulr) through WordPress.com — and I have checked all the correspondence (all of it saved) and there is nothing that can help me reset the name to my new host. Any ideas on how to do this? OR whom to write to?
