Getting double postings after update

  • Did the update to new version of WordPress through our host using Fantastico today. After the update the last 4 posts each appear twice. I deleted one of these and reposted it but the new post is also displayed as the same post twice in a row on first page.

    How do I fix this?

  • Check your plugins — make sure they’re all current and work with your version.

    Thanks, I checked all the plugins to make sure they are the current ones and are working as much as I could check.

    I have now narrowed the problem down to it posts twice on first page if I select 2 categories and only once is a single category.

    This sure sounds familiar – SideBlog plugin by chance? If not, care to list the active plugins?

    Yea, SideBlog but I have 3.5 version. What do I need to change?

    I could be mistaken, but isn’t there a newer version of that one?

    Ah, you are right again and I did the update to 3.7 but then got a 404 error so I have deactivated SideBlog until I have time to sort out this new conflict. Thanks for your help.
