• When I add a new widget in WP4 while Oomph Clone Widgets is activated, I get a 2nd shadow widget as well. There seem to be scoping issues and my custom loop within new widgets doesn’t work correctly. I resolved problem by deactivating Oomph Clone Widgets.

This widget is a nice idea. The capability was requested by a client and they had no trouble using the feature (until I upgraded to 4.0!).

  • I am having the same problem. When I add a new widget to a sidebar, two instances of the widget are added. Interestingly, it only happens when I drag and drop the widget into the sidebar. If I click on the widget, select the sidebar from the dropdown and add it this way, only one widget is added.

I am using WP 4.0 as well. I switched to twentyfourteen and deactivated all other plugins, same thing.

I am having the same problem too and had to deactivate it. Too bad – I miss it.

Same for me. That’s really a very usefull plugin. I hope the devs can find the issue.
