Getting email addresses from participants

    We use this plugin for our music chart show. People choose songs and then we play them according to the number of votes.

    We would like to make people more interested in the voting by giving them some reward (souvenirs, cds etc). So after they vote, they could type titles of their favourite songs they would like to appear in the chart and their email to validate their input. This in our opinion would make more people interested in our music chart. We don’t want to build some registered users database, we only want to persuade them to vote. Can it somehow be done? Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

    I don’t know if I understand you. But in your case you just have to add some further fields for it. They will also be saved in the database and available at the export.

    I could not be any clearer…

    We found that people rarely want to leave their opinion (or vote in our surveys). So we want to encourage them by giving them a chance to write down their proposition to our music chart confirmed by either email address or a link to their FB profile.

    We then could choose one of the participants and award him with a gift, a CD or any stuff. If people know they could get something in reward, they are more prone to fill the survey. Let’s think of it in terms of a bait.

    What kind of fields could we use to do it? I can’t see them. I think it should be some option to make it obligatory. Otherwise people could skip it or they would write their email adresses without voting.
