    Greetings,
I just updated our clients wordpress site to the latest wp 4.2.1 version, all updated successfully, I was able to see the site, see the dashboard, I even logged in right after the update, all was fine. Then minutes later, I get ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED when I try to go to the site. I keep refreshing and still get this msg, and I’m not able to access site. I logged to cPanel, was able to get in, I see all files/site in tact, but I can’t access the website without getting ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.
I even tried on a different browser, but still not working ??
    ** PHP version is 5.3.24
    ** MySQL version is 5.1.73-cll

** I see in the error log in cPanel saying this:

[Tue Apr 28 09:30:05 2015] [error] [client IP] Insufficient permissions: /home/name/public_html/xmlrpc.php

Please help, I would highly appreciate any assistance!
    Much appreciation,
    Aline

Wanted to update my recent posting, and happy to say that the issue has been resolved. It seems the hosting server was dealing with issues due to the latest WordPress hacks that have been going on in the last day or two. Hope all are safe with respect to their own WP sites, if you hadn’t heard of it, best to ensure updating your wordpress version to the latest secure version, as this has been released to help prevent the recent hacks.
    Best regards,
    Aline

in my case it show err connection without me install any of the plugin and stuff, i just can’t see any other wordpress page and even my page when i try to see it from the other ppl point of view( without the editing stuff)

If you’re working with WAMP @pokapokachan you can stop the services and restart
