I am getting an error on the dashboard and was offered a button to copy the error, which is:

    a.ft is undefined

        in GoogleChart
        in ContextProvider
        in Chart
        in div
        in GoogleChartErrorHandler
        in GoogleChart
        in div
        in WPDashboardUniqueVisitorsChartWidget
        in div
        in WPDashboardWidgets
        in div
        in WPDashboardApp
        in RestoreSnapshots
        in ErrorHandler
        in ThemeProvider
        in StrictMode
        in Root

Can you advise what the issue is please?

    Regards

    Steve B

Hi @stevehale thanks for opening a support topic. Can you confirm that you are seeing this when viewing the WordPress dashboard for your site?

If yes then we are aware of this and this is happening due to Site Kit and another plugin both requesting Google Chart Library scripts. Some of the plugins we are aware of where this has happened are GAforWP, AIWP and Anti-Spam by CleanTalk.

This shouldn’t affect the Site Kit Dashboard so you should be able to view all your data still. For now you can hide one of the WP Dashboard widgets which will stop this from happening. To do this go to your WP Dashboard, select the screen options drop down and switch off one of the widgets. See this screenshot for where to find these.

You will still be able to see all of your Site Kit data from the Site Kit Dashboard if you choose to hide the Site Kit WP Dashboard widget but if you choose to leave it switched on as it is you will still be able to see your data via the Site Kit Dashboard.

In the meantime we are discussing this with the team to see if we can address this.

Hi there, I’m a Newspack user also experiencing this issue. I’m not using any of the plugins mentioned previously. However I am using Memberpress which appears to load libraries from Gstatic domain. I will cross-file this issue with Memberpress as well.

    Hi Adam

Yes you are corredct. In the WP Dashboard. For the moment I have taken off the view of Site Kit.

On the site I use Anti-Spam by Cleantalk.

@stevehale We have just released version 1.93.0 of the Site Kit plugin. This comes with a solution to the Google charts issue you have been facing. In the case that multiple plugins on the WordPress Dashboard load Google charts, the Site Kit widget chart will not be displayed. You can still access all of your data from the main Site Kit dashboard. Let us know if you spot anything else.

    Hi Adam

Thanks. Though is this really a “solution”, or rather a work around. It would be nice to still see the information on the dashboard.

@stevehale Thanks for the feedback. We are always looking to improve the plugin experience so will continue to do so in this case. As mentioned you can still access all your data via the Site Kit main dashboard.
