Getting error message when trying to add new plugin

  • Hello. I just migrated my WordPress site from my local server to a remote one. In the dashboard of the remote site, when I go to add a new plugin, I get this error message:
    “An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration.”

    Is this a hosting issue? I did not get this error on my local site.
