Getting error messages when updating or deleting a event

The fix worked for me, but now I have the issue again with 2.1.1 update.

I had this problem after moving to 1and1 hosting.
In 1and1 control panel changed the PHP global setting back down to 5.2 (was 5.4) and works again.
I suspect a bug running under 5.4

Also only seems to occur when I link to a venue with the google map.

@swatson12345 can you verify if the above fix works for you? If not can you indicate the exact steps to replicate the error under a fresh install of WordPress – I’m running 5.4 on my test sites – and judging by the error – I don’t think its php-version-specific, though the error notice may be suppressed depending on your set up.

Try replacing line 765 in /includes/event-organiser-cpt.php with

//Check if its array of terms or term IDs
		$first_element = reset( $terms );
		if ( is_object( $first_element ) ){
			$term_ids = wp_list_pluck( $terms, 'term_id' );
		} else {
			$term_ids = $terms;
		}

That fix worked for me fine.

Will that be on the next release, otherwise I will have to make a mental note not to update the plugin.
