    Hello,

I have got the Payu’s SALT and Key (not the default ones). When I checkout, the PayU money page opens fine. But when I select any payment mode (Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card etc.), the Transaction fails and the reason that Payu has is “Transaction denied due to risk”

I asked Payumoney team about this, and they said that the problem is with the bank.

Now, I have tried 3 different banks and 3 different credit and debit cards, but still I am getting the same error. Could you please advice me on what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Hi eleopard,
Firstly thank you using our plugin.

Secondly sorry to hear about your issue. Please note, we have only developed the Plugin for WooCommerce integrated with PayU.

All transnational and PayU account related maters have to be answered by the PayU team, as we don’t have access to your details.

If the issue arisses on your website, we may have tried to resolve by interacting with you, but the issue mentioned is purely residing at PayU’s side, thus we will not be able to provide any solution.

If you are looking for alternatives, please feel free to get in touch with us at [email protected]

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes problem seems to be on the PayU or Bank’s side.
I tried the Payu Biz Test mode and it worked like a charm.

Will try to resolve it by harassing Payu Support now :p

Thanks a lot for the support.

    It’s all sorted out guys.

“Transaction denied due to risk” comes when your email comes under the Bank’s blocked email list (or something similar).

Reason: I did a lot of testing on the store prior to Payu Setting up my account. Probably that’s the reason the banks placed my email (or possibly my whole domain) in blocked list.

Once I used a general email ID (gmail or yahoo), the transaction went successfully.
