Getting errors only for Instagram

In case you aren’t seeing anything when you turn on the debug option, try this:

1. Go to the file wp-content/plugins/photonic/Admin/Wizard/Wizard.php.
2. Navigate to line 1069. You will see:
   return ['error' => sprintf(esc_html__('No data returned. Error code %s', 'photonic'), $response['response']['code'])];
3. Change it to this:
   return ['error' => sprintf(esc_html__('No data returned. Error code %s', 'photonic'), print_r($response, true))];

Let me know what you get.

Just sits there with dots moving after I click next….no error just stuck in loop

I am not sure what else to do to fix this. Specific only Instagram, and only my website (maybe one other), no change in plugin codes or theme. I am suspecting since this is specific to me, maybe the authentication is not working correctly? But this was working two days ago. So I have to ask, what changed? Nothing. I am baffled. I wonder if I used a different Instagram (one to test with) if that would work. And if it did, then we would know it is account specific and perhaps contact Instagram support?

Until we can figure out some kind of solution, I am moving the 15 posts with Instagram gallery/photo to trash so my website does not appear as broken.

If you are on Chrome, open Developer Tools (F12, or Ctrl + Shift + I). There are two tabs of interest there: Console, and Network.

What do you see on the “Console” tab, when you get the moving dots?

On the “Network” tab, in the lower left panel you will see a bunch of links. Scroll to the bottom. You will see some links that say “admin-ajax.php”. You need to find the one corresponding to the request that went to Instagram. To do that, click on them one by one, and look at the “Payload” tab (in the panel on the right). See which of the payloads has these two:

screen: 2

For this request, click on the tab that says “Response” in the lower right panel. Tell me what that says.

This doesn’t align with your error code 403 – it refers to error code 500. If you have the debug logging turned on, turn it off and retry.

This cannot be right. If you have changed the code as per my instructions, you should not see the 403 in the last line. The code I have provided should replace out the 403 with the entire responseYou should also not be seeing any text before the message.

Please make the code changes EXACTLY as I have suggested, or this will continue endlessly.
