Getting errors only for Instagram

Another update – after I provided more details to Meta, it looks like they are troubleshooting the issue. Since there doesn’t seem to be any issue with my code, they are trying to see why some tokens generated by them are working and others have stopped working.

I heard back from Meta – apparently I need to undergo business verification for this, which makes more sense. Apparently others have the same issue, as I can see from StackOverflow (https://stackoverflow.com/questions/73644641/instagram-basic-api-and-business-verification).

I am still trying to figure out what I need to do – if I need to set up a business just to deliver this part of the code, I would rather not, and I would prefer discontinuing Instagram support.

I will let you know in a few days’ time.

I really hope you can do this without too much trouble because there are no other plugins that let a user display single photo from Instagram. I checked. All the other plugins only display an entire instagram feed. Thank you for your hard work on this plugin.

I have bad news – Meta has confirmed that I need to have a business account to keep this working, and that just doesn’t make sense for me. Photonic is a hobby, and is in no way, shape or form, a part of a business.

I will have to close the Instagram side of Photonic for this purpose.

Photonic is GPL, so you are free to use the code for Instagram and release a separate plugin, if you wish.

I think that will be a good think.

So wich once are needed for the instagram functionality.
Place just send back the files that are necessary if its possible.

Since I am an individual developer not belonging to a business, Meta doesn’t let me support Instagram any more.
