Getting Facebook event matching error

  • I installed the facebook conversion api ID on the PYS plugin settings.
    But we are getting the following error from Facebook:
    “Compared to other advertisers in the same region, the customer information you’re sending with AddToCart events is ineffective at matching the events to a Meta account. This limits your ability to show relevant ads to people.”

    Please Have a look at the attached picture from our Facebook account.
    Can you help me and tell me what this error means, and what needs to be changed in the PYS plugin settings for the facebbok account, so that we can remove this error.

    Do you have the same pixel installed by something else? Like Google Tag Manager, another plugin, custom code? The events I am able to see on your site don’t have our default parameters. It looks like something else fires them. GTM is my primary suspect here.

    Do you have events configured outside our plugin? If yes, delete them.

    Do you have automatic events without code option turned ON inside your Meta Ads Manager? If yes, turn it OFF.

    I have GA4 Id installed through the PYS settings, I’ll check and make sure there are no other pixel related plugins or code.

    I’ll update you accordingly.

    I was under the impression that you asked about the Meta pixel and that’s what I checked on the site. GA4 is related to Google Analytics.

    I did ask about the Meta pixel, but answering your previous post, I wrote that in addition to the Meta pixel, I have also another pixel with different Id installed for the Google Analytics in the Pixel Your Site settings.

    Could that be the cause of this error?

    Can you tell me which tool you use to test the facebook events like you said?
