• I’ve been getting false positives on scheduled scans every now and then the last few weeks. I get some “Modified plugin file” issues – mostly readme.txt’s – but when I click “See how the file has changes”, I end up to page saying “There are no differences between the original file and the file in the repository.” Getting email notification about issues from automatic scans is a bit annying when all of them are from false positives.
I don’t have HIGH SENSITIVITY scanning enabled.

  • Are all of your plugins updated?

Yeah, I have automatic updates for plugins enabled.
Sometimes it seems to not have readme.txt files updated so I restore to original file manually. But the problem is when the file is up-to-date and Wordfence’s saying it’s not.
