Getting Fatal error when trying to install plugins in 2.7

  • Getting:

    “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare pclziputilpathreduction() (previously declared in /home/corporat/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-automatic-upgrade/lib/pclzip.lib.php:5421) in /home/corporat/public_html/wp-admin/includes/class-pclzip.php on line 5498”

    Any clues?

  • hey john,
    i got that as well, and what i did to fix was deactivate the auto upgrade, and then install the new plugin (whatever it is you’re installing). i am not technically skilled enough to know WHY this is happening, or why that fix worked, but it let me proceed.
