• I believe that this problem only started happening after the 4.6 update, but now (on this computer I am using to write this only) I am getting a “HTTP ERROR 500” every time I try to access my website any further then domain.com and I need to fix a bunch of things with my website. I believe it’s only google chrome because I can get in with internet explorer, and on any other computer. I am stumped when it comes to this, and I have tried every solution google has to offer.

I do have access to my ftp, but it is hosted by my web provider so its alot harder to navigate.

*Quick edit* I know I am very vague in this post, but its because I have no clue if my website is on 4.6 yet or not.

please post a link to your site; let’s see if it really is just your computer and chrome!

Meantime, open an incongito window in chrome on your computer and see if you can get in without any chrome addons enabled.

    1. The site works for me, so whatever’s going on is on your computer. Disable all extensions to Chrome on your system and see if that fixes it. If so, then turn them back on one at a time until you find the issue. (I’m looking at the site with Chrome.)

    2. You have an error on the page
    jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:2 Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: a[href*=#]:not([href=#], a.vc-carousel-control, a.vc_carousel-control, .wpb_tabs_nav a, a.acomment-reply.bp-primary-action)
This indicates that you have an old version of the Visual Composer plugin and need to update it.

I have 1 plugin on my chrome, and disabling that does not help,
I have tried logging in, and that does not work on different browsers/pc’s I think the problem is the login script, and not the login page, because I can use the login screen freely, but trying to log in with the correct information it still does not let me access the website and gives me the “HTTP 500 server error.” it could be outdated visual composer, I will try to disable wordpress plugins and try again.
