getting into admin prior to changing dns

    when i set up a new wordpress blog prior to chaning the dns to point to the url, i can access sites via an ip address. problem is if i go to the admin folder it goes to the url and i can’t get in. is htere a way to use the temporary ip address and get into the admin folder?
