Getting locked out when I try to reupload files

  • Hey,

    I keep locking myself out of my site. The situation is this:

    A while back, a number of media files mysteriously vanished from my site. But with previous backups I made, I still had the image files, so I’ve been trying to reupload them to the site. However, when I try to do this now, I get an HTTP Error and a resulting lockout from the site.

    Should I batch rename the files to upload them, or is there a setting I can change to upload the files back to the site accordingly?

    Update: Figured out how to whitelist myself so the lockouts aren’t as much of an issue — still haven’t figured out the file issue. I suspect that Disable File Locking might do the trick, but don’t know if I want to mess with the duplicate operations issue.

    Any advice?
