Getting lots of errors with Spam Karma 2

  • I just installed Spam Karma 2. The following is only a subset of the error messages I’m getting when I try to post a comment:

    Cannot run filter_comment: no valid comment provided.
    Cannot run treat_comment: no valid comment provided.
    Cannot update sk2_kSpamTable info (no comment ID provided).

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /hsphere/local/home/galen5/familywebwatch.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/SK2/sk2_util_class.php:145) in /hsphere/local/home/galen5/familywebwatch.com/blog/wp-comments-post.php on line 44

    Basically, the list continues with the same message just with the line number increasing by 1. To add to my confusion, if I go back to my form (from the page with the error messages) and refresh, my comment shows up.

    In the last version of SK, I recall the need to chmod something. I don’t see any mention of that this time around, but it’s quite possible I’m overlooking that bit of info. Does anyone know if that’s still required for v2?

    Can anyone help with suggestions on what I can try to get this fixed? I love Spam Karma and I’m eager to get it working again. ??

    Spam Karma 2 is not finished by any means. Not to mention that it’s being developed for WP v1.5.1 (not v1.5). You should contact Dr. Dave. There’s nothing we can do for you here, sorry.

    Well, I installed it under Dr. Dave’s suggestion, but with it being pre-alpha and meant for another version of WP (didn’t know that), I suppose I can do without until it’s ready for prime time.
