About 1-2 times a day we get a low stock notification email. Login to admin, check the inventory of said product and there are 100 items there.

    >Wild Red Hulu – 250 Grams (wild-red-hulu-250-grams) is low in stock. There are 2 left.

You can see the settings here https://cl.ly/b776a960bced

Its hard to reproduce but its consistent. Anyone ever see this before?

Here are the inventory settings https://cl.ly/98163f6963fd

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Its hard to reproduce but its consistent. Anyone ever see this before?

I can’t say that I’ve seen this one before. The first thing to do is ensure that nothing is conflicting with WooCommerce.

First, you’ll want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then test. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you. If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one to see where the issue is coming from. If you don’t want to test on your live site, then create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.

    Best,

    Ross

Thanks. I know the debug drill but the problem is I can’t recreate it on the staging site. We get 8K users a day so I can’t do all of that on the production site. Its a mystery as to why it happens. I’m thinking its user error or something. Or a conflict. Either way, it only happens on production.

    Thanks

    Hi Andrew,

A possible option to test for conflicts on the live site is to use: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/meks-quick-plugin-disabler/. This allows you to disable all other plugins and switch the theme to Twenty Seventeen on the live site, but only see these changes as the admin user that enabled the troubleshooting in Meks.

With any testing, we recommend creating a backup before diving into testing.

    Hope that helps!

    Yuki

I’ll give this a go. First time I have seen this. Thanks!
