Getting no. of spam comments as I created my blog

I have created my new blog , and haven’t even made it search friendly . But from Day 1 am getting comments to my blog .

I want to know how do others know that a new wordpress blog has been created and how do they comment ,
Do they use some bots , its sure they will not do it manually ,

Please help
