• Hi, I got wp to work now, moved it into the root directory. Now I am trying to get my personal header to work. I saved it as personalheader.jpg and uploaded it to the images directory as directed, but it is not coming up on my page. I was able to alter the header by removing some of the code, so I know I can do that, but the image is not appearing. Please help. THanks.

thanks — how about getting categories to show up, and reducing the size of the font for links.

Figured out the categories. Can’t figure out how to get the size of the link fonts reduced.
I have a feeling I did not pick a good theme to work with as athis is very hard to manipulate and I can’t figure otu the code. Can anyone recommend a theme that is easy to work with and comes with some instructions?

there are a whole plethora of themes:

Most of those should work with the version of WP you’re using.

Hi again, Okay, I think i’ve picked a better theme. However, I do not know how to get the blogroll links or other links to appear. Could someone please help me get this to work? Is there a tutorial on how to change code in the style sheets of a theme to get it to look the way you want?

Seems like this should be so simple and straightforward. I have looked in the tutorials on links and can find nothing about this problem.

You can look here to see the test link I created which appears to work. When I look at the source code for the index page, though, there is no blogroll listed, and no link. Is there a feature for enabling this?

ok I added that bit of code from above and it worked.
