Getting rid of comment section on my wordpress website

I normally add this at the bottom of my css, but without seeing your site, it’s hard to know if this will work.

I can see this in your layout.css

.form-allowed-tags {
	font-size:.9em;
	line-height:1.3em;
	margin:-1em 0 0;
}
.form-allowed-tags code {
	font-size:1em;
}

just change that to

.form-allowed-tags {display:none;}

where about do I need to change it what section do I find it in

That file is part of your theme file.
In the admin, go to appearance > editor
Look in the right hand side and locate the layout.css

but is there a way of getting rid of the section when someone puts in a comment on the page as I will be using this as a website not a blog

don’t worry you can’t see the page unless you are logged in to the site
