Hi there, I’m in the process of setting up a page for my wife’s school. I am trying to make it a static site rather than a blog.

One thing I can’t figure out: how can I remove the “Created by” tag at the bottom of each page? Since it’s a static site, I don’t want to have those on the respective pages.

The theme I’m using is Bamboo-10. I have already customized it a bit (including new header graphic and removing footers), but can’t figure out how to get rid of posting credits.

Thanks in advance for any help!

  • Most themes contain either a “single.php”, “post.php” or “page.php” file within /wp-content/themes/bamboo-10/ (In your case.)

Usually within those files there is a line of code which will create the Author Credit link/name slot. You’ll need to look in those files to find the line of code which makes that line appear. The codes will be useful for this. So this should be a fairly easy modification to the theme files.

Great – it was within page.php. Easy to find, with your help. Thank you so much!
