Getting Rid of Elementor

  • Hi the person who developed my site used elementor and i find elementor hard to maintain and make updates. Can I delete elementor and not delete all the content on my site?

    A few ideas:

    Create a new topic to ask in the community that knows elementor best
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/elementor/

    Does your webhosting plan offer a staging site/area? You could create a staging site, turn off elementor and see what happens.

    You could do a small initial test using https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ in troubleshooting mode with elementor turned off to see what happens.

    Backup database and files before making any changes incase you need to restore your site.

    I did the same with my site once, the UI/elements which are made by using elementor will be lost with/without content I don’t remember.

    I recommend backup your site.
