    How on earth do I get rid of numbers in my titles???

    For example, in my heading it says “1. Text”, as a result in the TOC it says “1. 1. Text”. This is super annoying and ugly… I don’t want to remove the number in the heading either.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Please navigate to the Settings : Table of Contents admin page scroll to the bottom of the General section and change the Counter option to None.

    Hope this helps!

    Hey Steven,

    Thanks, that kind of helps. However, what I’m looking for is to remove the numbers only in situations where I have a number in the title. Ie.

    H2 = “1. Text” … TOC = “Text”
    H2 = “Text” … TOC = “1. Text”

    Is this possible?

    Thanks,
    D

    Sorry, no, the numbers are added by using a CSS counter after the list of headings from the page content is extracted. The CSS counter is unaware of the (heading) content and can not take it into consideration.
