Getting slower and slower.

  • My WordPress 204 is getting slower and slower as time goes on. I disabled all the plugins, all the pings, dashboard, everything, still no difference. Functions like the post write screen takes perhaps 60 seconds to finish loading, especially the lower, upload portion of the post writing screen.

    Wondering if there is a cache or something that keeps getting larger?

  • Have you tried it from other locations? It might be that updates to your antivirus, antispyware, or firewall software are progressively interfering more and more with uploads and downloads through your specific computer. You might also want to try a different browser installed on your computer as well to see if that makes a difference.
