Hi, I have installed this plugin which looks to be good. After installing, I first went to the Settings Page and did the setup. Then when I am on ‘We are open’ page to set daily opening and closing timings, I found that it is showing 12:00 hours in both boxes and if I want to setup from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm I am unable to do this as after 12, the counter is going back to 1. Any helping getting started document or details will be helpful for me. Thanks

@shareef790 Thanks for posting on the forum, it’s easier than using WhatsApp.

In 24 hour format for the Dashboard->We’re Open page, just enter this for each:

    07:00 – 18:00

If your browser is showing as 12-hour format, please continue scrolling down to the second reference to 6.00.

    I hope this helps.

If you continue to have an issue here, please drop me a reply and I’ll perform some more testing and release an update for more support for the 12-hour format offered by the browser.

I set this as 24 hours format now and on the We are Open page, both from and to time boxes are going upto 12:00 hours only and not showing 13:00 and so on. Does this make sense? Thanks

@shareef790 What you said makes sense.

Here, I am developing this with British English as the language and 24 hours as the default format.

I think the width of the time inputs is too narrow (width is too restrictive) so the AM/PM selection doesn’t appear. If you can edit the width of these fields in the browser’s inspector (F12 and click the inspect button or right click and inspect the element), it may reveal this.

I am going to see if I can find a resolution and update the plugin’s code. I’ll report back soon.

If you spot anything, please let me know?

@shareef790 I have resolved the display issue in version 1.3. Please download this to see the 12-hour time inputs properly.

Any issues, please drop me a message here. Thanks!

Hi DesignExtreme, I have updated the plugin but no change for me. I thought I haven’t explained my issue correctly and so I made a short video to explain. The issue is: If I want to show timings as: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, what should I do other than what I am doing in the below video please? Thanks

@shareef790 Firstly, please force reload in the plugin page as it may not have loaded the new styles and script after the update.

    I’ll check the video shortly.

@shareef790 Thanks for sharing the video, very helpful!

However, it is the same issue that I took in my second reply here. The new version: 1.3 will resolve this and show your browser’s interface properly with enough width to expose the AM/PM option to the right of the minute selection.

Just a note about the 12 hour/24 hour selection in the Dashboard->Settings, this is only for the front-end display, not the Dashboard. Your browser/operating system settings will determine how it interprets the time input.

Please force reload the We’re Open! page using Ctrl Shift R or on a Mac it is Command and click the reload icon (and other ways which I cannot recollect).

    All the best,

    Noah

Great Job! Working now. Just got a question:

    1. Is it possible to display the ‘We are Open’ banner image that is showing on your plugin page? If yes, kindly show me the code.

    2. How to write the day, eg. “Today is ‘name of the day'”

Appreciate your help on this Thanks

@shareef790 That’s really good to hear!

In answer to your new questions:

    1. When you say “display the ‘We’re Open!” banner image”, where did you want to show this?
    2. At the moment, no. I need to add more conditional text to support the day names. I will add this in a subsequent version along with some other conditional statements and words

If you have a moment, please leave a review. It all helps at this early stage of the plugin’s life. ??

    1. On the header of the site where it says’ Currently open from xxxx. Instead of the words ‘Currently Open’ if we can place the image of ‘We are open’ and same with Currently Close as well. Is that possible? Thanks

    2. Thanks

@shareef790 I am still at a loss about where this is mentioned in the plugin. Did you add your own conditional text? Remember, I don’t know your website.

For conditional text queries, please open a new post and I’ll answer it there. This way, other people can get answers to their similar question.

And thanks so much for the ★★★★★ review! ??
