I’m trying to use this as a way of making a custom menu on a couple of landing pages I’ve created, but I’m a total novice and can’t seem to figure out how to put it on these pages.

I don’t see any kind of “getting started” documentation, but I really want to use this plugin because it looks so much better than the other responsive menu plugins I’ve found. Could you help me out?

How do I use this as my menu on a page? Again sorry if this seems like a “duh” question – I’m just a total newbie. ??

Well the first thing you need to do is add the CSS Menu ID or classname to the main menu setting in the SlickNav Options – How do I find the Menu CSS ID or Class?

Highlight the current page menu in the browser, for example in Chrome, right click and inspect element – then look in the dev tools window for the <ul id="menu-name-here" class="menu-class-name">.....</ul>

When adding the Menu in the Slicknav settings make sure to add the CSS ID or Class symbol eg. #menu-name-here or .menu-class-name

Once you have that save and check its working in the front end at a smaller size – then come back to the settings and tweak away.
