• Tried multiple sites, but whatever I do after choosing “3CX Integration” at step 1, the setup stops at step 2 “3CX PBX settings”. Tried with only the chat plugin active, and with basic WP theme. Is your chat server down?

    Hi there,

    To use 3CX Integration, you’ll need to have a 3CX PBX installed somewhere. You’ll then need to follow these steps. https://www.3cx.com/docs/live-chat-talk-wordpress-plugin/

    We plan to make the 3CX Integration part of the wizard much more user friendly and seamless. Really, it will be automatic. We need more time to do this.

    If you install a 3CX PBX somewhere, chats are sent from your wordpress site to it. The PBX then will route chats to agents on your PBX. The PBX also has enterprise level chat reports as well as the ability to create multiple chat queues/departments and groups.

    If you don’t have a 3CX PBX somewhere and just want to use the plugin, simply uninstall/reinstall it and select the 1’st option instead of the 3CX Integration option.
