Getting started with customizing themes

    This is day 1 on WordPress for me. I’ve read the documentation. I’ve played around with my site, using different themes. I just don’t know how to get the layout that I want. It seems as though there are just 2 choices: using a pre-made theme or customizing a theme using code. I have very little code knowledge, so am I stuck with the themes that are pre-made? Or is there a simple tool, like a WYSIWIG or something, that I can use to change a layout, add my custom logo, add video blogs, etc?
