A strange problem has started happening in my site’s WP admin pages, and I don’t think it is connected with any changes to the site content (I accessed the admin pages without making changes before this occurred).

On every page in wp-admin (Posts, Pages, Settings, Plugins, all of them including the sub-pages) I get a cookie warning popup (it’s actually not a separate window). Also, the popup is in German, although my site is in English (and is hosted in the UK). Here is a link showing it screenshot on main page

The site itself is unaffected, only the wp-admin pages show the problem. When I click accept (“Zustimmen”) the popup disappears, but only as long as I do not change page. Whenever I go to another page it re-appears, and even when I retunr to a previously accepted page it comes back again.

I’m pretty sure that the popup is related to IONOS because I get sent to https://www.ionos.de when I click the Impressum link. The site uses the twenty-eleven theme, though I doubt that’s relevant as it’s the admin pages that are affected.

Any help on how to turn it it off would be gratefully received.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

As this is a popup that seems to come from your hosting, I suggest you follow up with them (1 and 1 / ionos).

Thank you Steven, good idea. I’m somewhat removed from IONOS (as I only administer WP, not the host) but I will ask the host admin to contact them.
