• Hi.
I′ve seen the bugfix for iframes in may and also take a look at this support ticket.

However, I now have a different/similar problem where the HTML structure is also removed, which works fine in the past. For some videos (from Vimeo) we also need the <script> tag, which is unfortunately also deleted as soon as you save the product. Unfortunately, many data records have been deleted over time because we noticed it too late and now have to find an alternative solution for the future.

My question is whether there is no option or plan to either use blocks directly (WordPress block-editor) or to allow the entire HTML again so that it works as before. What do you think about this?

    Best regards
    Maik

    Hi, Maik.

Thanks so much for reaching out! I believe the removal of the <script> tag is related to a new security feature introduced by our developer.

No worries—I’m currently confirming with him about the automatic stripping of iframe or script tags from the content area and will get back to you with a more detailed update.

    I’ll keep you posted!

    Best regards,
    Adrian

    Hi, Maik!

    Thanks for waiting!

Our developer got back to me and mentioned that for scripts and styles, you’ll need to implement them through code or use plugins like Code Snippets, as they can’t be rendered directly in content.

As for block editor integrations, that’s something we’re actively considering. We may introduce this feature with the new ‘product editor’ in WooCommerce, but we don’t have a confirmed date just yet.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have further questions.

    Best regards,
    Adrian
