Getting text junk on one server but not the other

  • I’ve had to migrate servers twice in the past month, and I’ve noticed that for whatever reason, on some platforms, smart quotes and apostrophes will display correctly, and on others they’ll look like this: “the a€?olda€? days …”

    Unfortunately, my current server looks like the bad way!

    At first I thought it was downgrading to an older version of mysql, but I upgraded and reloaded the dbs, but still have the same problem.

    Is this a setting I can tweak somewhere, somehow?
