Getting to my first page and not "Index of/"

  • How do I get my site to go to the site itself and not “index of/” when I type in the website address in the address bar?

    I know absolutely nothing about IT or web design but so far I have taught myself quite a lot. Just can’t find the answer to what must be a pretty simple question.
