Getting too much problem in rendering js file

  • Hi Frank Goossens,

    Your plugin is really awesome.It helped me a lot in increasing site speed. I am able to correct critical css path. But how to solve js problem.

    My website is – https://www.omgearth.com

    During page speed test it says –

    Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content

    Your page has 1 blocking script resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.

    How can I get rid off this problem. As I am new in this field so, I don’t know much coding. My website is brand new also on VPS And Also using CDN , yet server response time is very high.How can I get it low. I use your plugin by hoping that may be it will help in reducing server response time.

    afternoon Narveer;
    * for jquery.js; you can try removing js/jquery/jquery.js from the list of AO JS optimization exclusions & test your site if everything continues to work (lots of theme’s & plugins require jquery to be available early though, so ..)
    * for response time; AO does not provide page caching, so to fix that you’ll have to install a page caching plugins such as wp super cache, comet cache, hyper cache, key cdn cache enabler, …

    Will you please tell me how can I remove js,jquery from AO optimization.Where I found this option. If you want to say ,inside plugin setting , then yes inside plugin setting I already uncheck js optimization .

    Regarding server response time-
    Currently I am using w3total Cache. Should I use WP super cache or W3Toatl cache.

    well, click on the “show advanced options”-button, scroll down to “js optimization” and in there look for “exclude these scripts from optimization” where you’ll see js/jquery/jquery.js

    both should work, but if your server response time is too high, w3tc might not be working correctly?

    As you say, I found that seal.js,js/jquery/jquery.js is already excluded. But after removing it from there, it works fine.This problem is solved.

    But my server response time problem is yet not solved. I switched from w3total cache to WP super Cache. Kindly help me in this matter also.

    sir, I have no idea but after changing setting , I am not able to customize my site.

    this is not something AO can help you with Narveer, you’ll have to check support forums for W3TC or WPSC your server response time remains slow even with a page caching plugin.

    AO normally isn’t active when in the customizer, but you can always re-add js/jquery/jquery.js to the list of AO JS optimization exclusion to see if this fixes this problem?
