Gif files not moving in chat

  • Hello There,

    We had to reinstate Wise Chat and since then we can’t place external .gif files? It’s possible, but they’re not moving?
    Example: https://i.imgur.com/KOXOBiN.gif

    It moves via the link but stands still in the media module and stands still in Wise Chat? What can we do about it?

    Thank you for your feedback. All GIF images posted in Wise Chat are resized, but resizing GIFs in PHP leads to loss of animation. I am aware of this and I have to incorporate some 3rd party tool that resizes GIFs without loosing the animation.

    Can you tell us when it’s going to be okay? Our friendly websites use a different chat module and can place moving .gif files and that doesn’t work best with us? Any idea if it will work at all?
