Gifs won’t load on mobile

  • Hi,

    Just activated the plugin and works fine, except that it won’t load animated gifs on mobile. They’re being loaded just fine for desktop, but on mobile I keep seeing the loading icon without the animations appearing.

    Regular images load fine both on desktop and mobile

    I’m using splash theme with varnish activated.

    Any guess?

    Hi @jrenzi

    Not aware of any issue with loading gif images in mobile. Can i suggest 2 things – which you may or may not have done already.

    1. Clear the Varnish cache
    2. In your mobile clear the Browser cache – or try it with a different browser or a different phone where you have not tried it before

    Yes – i think it is a caching issue – either varnish or browser.

    Already tried both things, and the problem persist.
