Gift aid doesn't show up in checkout

    Hi Matt
    I have just installed the Gift Aid for WooCommerce plugin and completed all sections under the new Products/Gift Aid tab. I now have a new column in the orders listing. However, gift aid checkbox etc does not show up in Checkout. Can you help? Nor can I see any way of selecting Gift Aid availability on a per product basis.

    I am running WP 4.6 and WooCommerce 2.6.4, the latter coming bundled in with the Gaea theme.

    Also, is your plugin compatible with WooCommerce Donations plugin? Basically I want our donors to be able to specify the donation amount themselves.

    Hello Ben,

    I see the ticket is marked as resolved, did you get around this? The plugin hooks into WooCommerce’s woocommerce_after_order_notes action, so unless the theme is altering some of the core WooCommerce hooks I can’t see an obvious cause. If you switch to Storefront theme does the checkbox appear?

    Gift Aid availability isn’t set on a per product basis, though it’s something I have plans to add as a checkbox on each product. This is something I may be able to add this week.

    I already have an item in my roadmap for the plugin to introduce custom donation amounts, so this would do what the WooCommerce Donations plugin offers.

    I’m curious, is this something you’d want to add via the cart directly e.g. enter an arbitrary donation amount and hit ‘add to cart’ or would you want this in the form of a product that can have an arbitrary donation amount.
