Gift Aid not working correctly for me

    I am trying to get Gift Aid to work.

    I have enabled address information, so the user can tick a box for Gift Aid.

    But in the Donations section, the Gift Aid option always shows as “No” even after submitting a donation with Gift Aid ticked.

    Also, can something be included in the emails (to the admin and the donor) saying about Gift Aid being selected?

    I’ve added the display of the Gift Aid to my bugs list and will look into it. As for the contents of the email, right now, that’s on the future features list.

    Thanks. Only just got back from a week away so have just seen this.

    Any idea when you think this might be resolved in the code at all?

    It’s just we’d like to start using the plugin on a live site, but this is the only thing stopping us from using it currently.

    I’m hoping for a quiet weekend and it’s definitely on the list. But I never make promises about schedule, because things have a tendency to get a little crazy.

    @matthewhearne I have the zipped plugin with the gift aid working but i cant upload here. I will send to David if he can supply an email to send too.

    I’m posting 4.0.15 now, which fixes Gift Aid. Unfortunately, it looks like Gift Aid declarations were not recorded in the original transaction (there was a typo, a missing _ if you can believe it), and as a result, there probably are no gift aid declarations in your existing data. Hopefully, new transactions will have that for you.
