• Hello. I’m running into an issue with the purchased Gift Card amount not being deducted when applied to the cart.

    1. Done: Create the Gift Card product.
    2. Done: Purchase the gift card product.
    3. Done: Receive the order confirmation email with the Gift Card code.
    4. Done: Add items to the cart to place another order.
    5. Done: Add the Gift Card code to the order at checkout.
    6. Failed: No amount is deducted from the subtotal.

    Any idea what might be going wrong?

    The issue here was with the original purchase of the Gift Card. The Gift Card was purchased with a coupon code that allowed the user to get a free gift card.

    When the user purchased the gift card there was NO error message or warning telling him that using a coupon code was not allowed.

    Can that be fixed?
