Gift Card Amount not deducted at Checkout

Hi, my costumers are trying to use the gift card code. The gift card is displayed on the cart but is not deducted at checkout when the customer chooses to pay by credit card or bank ticket, only by bank transfer does it work. Let me know how to solve this.
I use the PagSeguro and Mercado Pago systems and in none of them the amount is deducted for both credit card and bank ticket, common method of payment in my country.
