Gift card coming through twice

We have an issue where its estimated 40 % of the emails aren’t making it to the destination from users sending gift cards. (we uses amazon SES for sending) users advice not in spam folder
We have now unticked the Use WooCommerce Transactional Email. and waiting for users feedback.
However, we notice the emails are coming through twice to their recipient for the ones that actually do get the email – appreciate your help here Torre
