Gift Card discount priority cart totals

  • Hi,

    We work with gateway based fees. When choosing paypal as payment method, an additional fixed ($0.35) and percentage (3,4%) fee is added to the orders total.

    When working with regular woocommerce coupon codes, this gateway fee is calculated AFTER applying the discount.

    But, with the Yith Gift Card discount, the gateway fee is calculated BEFORE applying the discount.

    Which means, if you add a product of $10 to your cart, and you have a gift card of $10, it still adds the $0.69 gateway fee. As when the $10 discount is added with a regular wc coupon, the total is $0 as it should be.

    Is there a way to fix this?

    Could you tell me which plugin are you using in order to add this gateway based fees?

    This version of Gift cards use the gift card codes like coupons so they work in the same behaviour.

    Maybe the plugin use other hook and apply the gateway fee before the gift card is added to the cart.
