Gift Card Number

I have checked out the plugin and I am not sure why it is being sent as Auto Draft. Which version is installed? If you want to send me more detailed information you can email me at [email protected].

Yep, same problem for me! I add a new gift card, fill with sample data (send it to myself) and the mail I receive is like that:

Dear xxx,
xxx has selected a xxx Gift Card for you! This card can be used for online purchases at xxx.

Gift Card Amount: € 50,00

Gift Card Number: Auto draft

Using your Gift Card is easy:
Shop at xxx
Select “Pay with a Gift Card” during checkout.
Enter your card number.

Maybe I’m missing the point where you specify the gift card number?

No the gift card number should be auto created randomly. If one of you are willing to send me admin credentials to your site I can test it out. The information can be sent to [email protected].

Is anyone still having this issue? I just updated the plugin and it should be resolved but I want to make sure that it is fixed.

updated to 1.4.1 still “auto draft” (“Bozza automatica” in italian)

Why don’t you leave the option to set the coupon-number editable when creating gift card? This should solve all problems…

I will continue to look into this for you but for the time being you can add the following line of code to your functions.php file in your theme or at the bottom of the Gift Card plugin. It should add the title back in and allow you to enter in a card number.

add_post_type_support( ‘rp_shop_giftcard’, ‘title’ );

I will try to make sure that it works for you language and think that it is because you are using a different language. Thanks for the info and I will let you know when I make this update.

I added that code to my theme’s functions.php but the title doesn’t back in, so I can’t still enter a card number… ??

Can you email me your website so that I can check out what it is doing and maybe figure it out.
