Gift Card With Coupon

I noticed that the gift card uses the exact amount that was paid. However, if a customer uses a coupon code when he buys the gift card, then the gift card won’t be in full price.
For example: If John purchased a gift card for Sarah ($20 amount) and applied 10% coupon code. Then Sarah’s gift card will be loaded only with $18 instead of $20.
Is there any fix to that?
