Gift Certificates with EZ Paypal?

    hello,
    I’ve been using EZ Paypal to sell gift certificates, but it doesn’t work very well. I was wondering if you would have any suggestions or plan to develop functionality to support:
    1. extra questions before purchase (e.g. who is the product bought for, any special messages etc)
    2. Ability to dynamically produce a document (so that the Gift Voucher that I design in CSS will be filled in with the Recipient’s details and the ordering person will receive it in pdf).

    I haven’t considered this use case.

    As it stands now, what you can do is to have the buyers come to a landing page where they can fill in such details, and have the landing page generate the certificate for them. This will involve some amount of programming – (a) to verify the purchase with EZ PayPal and (b) to generate the PDF. Sounds like you already have (b). I can look into building (a). You will have to get your devs to do the integration work of building the form and handling the submits. Or you can hire me.
